BUGZ!

All of the bugs are so excited to go to the picnic, but, unfortunately the stink bug wants to come along!  What will they do?  All the bugs like Stinky, but how will they enjoy their food with Stinky there?

Bugz! Is a musical for young children that focuses on problem solving and showing kindness to others.  Watch as the ladybugs, bees, army ants, gypsy moths, caterpillars, butterflies, lighting bugs and more work together to show Stinky kindness and figure out how they can still enjoy their feast!

This musical is open to all Jackson Students in grades 1-3.  Everyone who signs up will be in the show!  The 4th and 5th grade students will be doing their own musical later in the year.

First graders will be part of our "Bug Bunch" (choir) and do not need to audition.  They will not have individual speaking parts, but will have some group lines and will since and dance to the songs in the show.

2nd and 3rd graders will all have speaking lines and sing in small groups.  Some will have solos.  Second and third graders will have to audition for us, but our auditions are kind and encouraging.  Have them come ready to sing a short song for us.  They can sing with music or sing something as simple as Happy Birthday or Jingle Bells. (they can sing a song with pre recorded music as long as there are no words on the music track) If they really don't want to sing for us, please have them come to auditions anyway so we can talk to them and figure out which part will be best for them.
