Parent Teacher Organization - PTO PDF Print E-mail

The Jackson Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization which

  • seeks ways to strengthen parent/teacher relationships
  • promotes the welfare of our children in the home, school and community
  • actively raises funds to benefit our school and children
  • organizes socials for our school
  • PTO wish list items are funded (within PTO guidelines) according to PTO vote
    by members present at meetings

2007-2008 School Year Contributions
As of October 9, 2007, the Jackson PTO has funded the following items:

  • $250 for each teacher - $5,750
  • Spring Dance Program - $5,000
  • Computer Teacher for K-2 - $3,000
  • 2008-2009 PTO Operating Budget - $6,840

PTO Meeting Schedule

All members are encouraged to attend. Childcare is provided for no cost.

All meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM in the

school library.
