Spring Gala – New event this year!! We will need volunteers to help in many different areas, from stuffing goodie bags to setting up for this exciting event. Look for the Spring Gala Sign Up Sheet at Back to School Night in your child’s classroom or sign up online to volunteer.
Library – Volunteers are needed to help librarian shelve books and prepare new material for students
Book Fair – Volunteers are needed to set up, tear down and staff the book fair during the three-day event.
Staff Appreciation – This committee is responsible for Staff Appreciation Days. Volunteers are needed to help organize, bring homemade food items, bring drinks, and help with set up and clean up.
Scrip – Scrip is a wonderful year round fundraiser that raises money for Jackson based purchases you were already planning on making for your household. That means Jackson receives money without any additional money out of your pocket!! We need volunteers to help sell scrip gift cards and process scrip orders throughout the year.
School Garden – Gardeners wanted! Come help out in our fabulous Jackson Garden. Projects are ongoing throughout the year. We also need volunteers to help weed the front school grounds. We need you to help keep Jackson’s campus beautiful.
School Directory – Volunteers needed to proof read, assemble and distribute directory.
Campbell Soup Labels and Box Tops – This is a year round fundraiser that takes very little of your time and can be done at home. Labels and box tops need to be trimmed, counted and turned in from your assigned classroom to a folder in the office.
Jackson Wear – We are looking for volunteers to help chair sell school clothing monthly and at school events and help handle ongoing orders
Sunshine Coordinator – Volunteers needed to help families who have experienced a hardship or are in a time of need and who are accepting assistance from the Jackson community. Care for fellow school families is most often needed with the birth of a new baby, as a result of illness, or when a death occurs in the family and can be in the form of cards, meals, carpooling, etc. Look for the Sunshine Coordinator Sign Up Sheet at Back to School Night in your child’s classroom or sign up online to volunteer.
Yearbook Photographer – Looking for volunteers to attend important classroom events and take photographs to be considered for publication in the yearbook. Best photos from each event will be emailed to Yearbook Committee. Look for the Yearbook Photographer Sheet at Back to School Night in your child’s classroom or sign up online to volunteer.
